From planning services and resources to day-of support, we offer tools and experienced staff to make your wedding planning easier. Take Advantage of the Wedding Decor Closet

We’ve seen what couples use the most to decorate our space, and curated a closet full of decor items that you can use – for free. The closet is filled with lanterns, greenery, flameless candles, table numbers, fake florals, runners, easels, a card box, signs, and much more. Many couples come and setup tables with our decor and add their personal touches so they have a plan for their special day.

Hire One of Our Experienced Wedding Coordinators

Wondering how all the setup and take down will be accomplished in one day?  How about coordinating with all the vendors in the last couple of weeks, not to mention on the day of your wedding? How will coordinate all your friends and family to be where they are supposed to be and when so you stay on schedule? Our coordinators have helped plan and coordinate 100’s of weddings and will help with all of those details so you and your guests can enjoy a stress-free day. 

Our coordinators meet with you two to three months before your wedding to discuss decor set up, ceremony cues, vendor coordination, day-of timelines, seating plans, and so many other little details. The goal is to take the heavy lifting off of your shoulders so that you, and your guests, can enjoy the moment instead of worrying about how the day will run.

Use our Suggested Vendors and Caterers Lists

Hundreds of vendors have worked in our venue, and we’ve listed those who go above and beyond for their clients on our Suggested Vendors and Preferred Caterers lists. Vendors on these lists have been to our venue many times each year, are comfortable with the space, and are friendly faces we love to work with. 

While you can choose other vendors, we do ask that we meet with caterers not on the list before you sign a contract. We want to ensure that they are full-service and agree with our catering policies, and they must be licensed and insured.

Plan Around Our Included Amenities

One way to simplify wedding planning is to take advantage of what’s already included at Barnwood Events. From our tables and chairs to our indoor and outdoor ceremony options, built-in bar, getting-ready suites, rental partnership with Event Essentials, and sound system, using the venue’s amenities can save you time, money, and extra rental coordination.

Coordinate Lodging and Transportation

We have a dedicated parking lot with 170 stalls and 6 handicap stalls close to the venue. The parking is free, and guests can leave their cars overnight (and yes, Uber and Lyft come here). We also have agreements with four area hotels that have free shuttles for your guests when you book room blocks with them.

We also have a farmhouse onsite that sleeps up to 20 guests that’s available to rent.
